A unique ad , I am guessing your ad to be the only cattle production sale ad this spring to have a George Bernard Shaw quote with an attribution to him. Ah shucks it might be the only one with a George Bernard Shaw quote ?
Are you going to hire your aucioneer friend again? And how about the church van tour?
I wish you well.

thanks North; another acquired trait from Larry often makes me more interested in artistic value than $BEEF value :)
A real auctioneer seems too out of character for my sale; almost as much so as the church van :) ...so I`ll likely skip both
the calving cows will be nearby; and the heifers are calving daily on the back forty......I`m off to the golf course for the afternoon...now that`s how I define performance

let`s hope the journey reaps greater returns than the golf course...on second thought, it can`t.... because golf is a game you cannot win, you can only play...so is cattle breeding...

That statement makes more sense to me than anything I have read on here in awhile. Great analogy

You can ask any steer, in breeding and golf it is very important to make the cut.

Even though most of us don't admit we give our cows a "mulligan".

Will, in a couple of days....11 Felix/1705 or 1707 embryos in today; from this day forward known only to the public as Model Ax and a number; semen checking bulls tomorrow; 50,000 lb of feeders headed to Iowa Wednesday; MO vistors Thursday...hell, Tiger Woods will be back on the golf course before me at this rate :)
in the meanwhile, I did catch this picture Saturday of Unwanted`s 2 yr old maternal sister with her calf at side by Unwanted...hmmm, I meant Ax 116 instead of Unwanted...

I do not know your better half but will bet she would use more than a 9 iron if you behaved like Tiger off the course.

Are "iron" and "millimeter" interchangable when used after 9? :(

I`m trying to live my greedy reputation down; giving my dogs away, buying dinners, selling cattle cheaper, rebating some these customers who never shop anywhere else for genetics; I`m so paranoid about my greedy reputation that I`m willing some cows to a Mo couple who`ve viewed me in a more positive light over the years; maybe they can help clear my name after I`m dead, because I`m sure I`ll never get it done...because I ain`t changing :)

You're just in a good mood because UK winning keeps the wife happy. Hopefully the Purdue loss didn't hurt too bad.
